Karlsruhe, May 27, 2021 – Technology investor LEA Partners (“LEA”) enables the merger of PROCAD with keytech Software GmbH as well as ACATEC Software GmbH, creating a leading software vendor for the digitalization of product lifecycle management. With over 250 employees the group serves approximately 1,350 customers and more than 125,000 users worldwide. Their combined strengths are set to accelerate innovation, with a strong focus on next generation cloud applications and software-as-a-service solutions. Customers will benefit from the joint expertise to simplify and to speed up processes to develop, manufacture, distribute and service products. 
Founded in 1996, keytech Software GmbH specializes in optimizing business processes across the product lifecycle. The company is one of the premier suppliers PLM and PDM software for mid-market manufacturing companies.
ACATEC Software GmbH develops and sells product configuration solutions and entered the market in 2004. ACATEC is a technology leader in CAD automation, 3D visualization of custom products, and end-to-end business process automation.
